I recently spent two weeks in New Haven music directing a new musical tentatively called SHIP SHOW by Ben Wexler and Mark Sonnenblick as part of the Yale Institute for Music Theatre.
This is a riotously funny, yet smart and tender show written by a pair of really talented writers. SHIP SHOW is directed by the Instutute Artistic Director, Mark Brokaw. The Institute is designed to give new music theatre writers a chance to create with a professional cast and creative staff with a focus on writing rather than a polished reading.
