I'll be revisiting Al Camines' CHRISTMAS RAPPINGS once again this holiday season! Judson Memorial Church (55 Washington Square South) is producing a special 2-performance benefit concert on Friday December 18 at 8pm and Saturday December 19 at 2pm. Here's a chance to see some phenomenal soloists and a chorus of roughly 70 perform this truly unique theatrical oratorio in the space for which it was created! I'll be music directing and playing piano. Direction is by Russell Treyz.
While this piece traces the biblical Christmas story, this piece is a unique theatrical treatment that is non-preachy and safe for people of all religious persuasions (or none!).
